Winchester is on the mainline, an hour journey from London (Waterloo station). You can also travel direct from Oxford, Birmingham and Manchester.
The station is a 7 minute walk away from the apartment.
You can walk almost everywhere within the city of Winchester - definitely favourite mode of transport! But there are plenty of buses and taxi's if required.
Unfortunately there is NO dedicated parking on site. On street parking is permit only. Tower street multi-storey car park is a 10 minute walk away - and is free after 6pm/before 8 am and on Sundays. Payment at this car park is available via Ringo. On street parking is free for 2 hours and in the evenings and Sundays.

Very good location right next to the city center, lots of shops and things to do nearby, flat was a good size, clean and reasonably well equipped. The lack of a washing machine did make my longer stay a bit trickier, but on the whole it was lovely and I would stay here again
